Your hands
Your Hands will write the future,
and thus bless the frozen with the savior’s fiery literature,
and further they will come together in prayer,
to usher from heaven the Elijah Fire.
Your hands will also heal the sick and the broken, nurture,
and as you stand at the enemy temple’s foundations like Samson,
you will triumph because they will push apart the pillars,
and they will also surely bless old and young,
by overcoming the chaos of the cacophony of days with the holy guitar song,
so that with this obedient harmony that will circle all Jericho walls,
your hands will bring them down,
no matter how strong.
Your hands will touch generations,
with the “Sword of the spirit” mission,
and heal the broken eagles,
to teach them once and ever more how to soar,
and enter the splendor of the blessing of these your brothers and sisters,
that they may share the harvest,
this joy hidden in every moment and hour,
and your hands will write holy poetry to your partner,
that you learned from the Savior,
this touch of fire more than any power,
that speaks of victory,
and the eternal gift that is the reward of destiny,
that your hands will forever share in the sanctity of your service to humanity,
so that those who Christ will bless through you will be many,
and from their prisons will finally be set free.
About this poem
This poem was written as part of my second collection of gospel poetry on the subject of the season of brokenness. It reminds me of the power of our hands, how much these simple yet powerful tools can accomplish, especially in the context of the saviour Jesus. I pray you may never look at your hands the same way after this!
