Just A Little Bit Of Love

Oh, my empty little heart
nothing but the echos of my beating heart.
Pure heart, unshattered,   untouched.
It's so lonely in this heart, a bit cold...

In the summer I sing and smile and dance, I also laugh.
No man can BREAK this well sculpted mask.
In the middle of my twirls and somersaults I pause and look at my longing shadow.

Oh, to be loved...

Half a glass, I am
Surrounded by people that know me and adore me
and yet this glass is not yet full.
I walk outside with hope that someone might take
the interest to wanting to know my name,
but then... they're not to blame.

Oh, just a glimpse of love...

I want to have something that seems my mother
does not know. Or she knew, but it left her crooked.
Not seeing it, made me need it.
A life without it, is slowly peeling at my surface
leaving my sensitive parts exposed to the glimers of HATE.

Building barriers has made me almost INDESTRUCTIBLE.
Imprisoned in my own barriers, I lay there, listening to
my cold dejected heart, shielding me from any warmth and LOVE.

Therefore...

I can never know love.
For it has ran away with the man I needed it from the MOST.
