An old silent lake

An old silent lake is what I see as I turn around with tears on my cheek, 'this is the end', I think
But in the stillness, whispers rise
Reflections shimmers within the darkened skies
Each tear, reflects a memory, to linger longer, to let me be

An old silent lake is what I see as I bid adieu
New chapter forms, a journey anew
A sanctuary where once I stood
Is now a place no longer use.
