Into the darkness

In the depths of my soul, a darkness resides inside me
A heavy fog that cloud my mind, and won't subside
The world outside seem gray and cold
A reflection of the emptiness I hold

I'm lost in a sea of despair
Drowning in tears, with no hope to repair
The weight of my soul, a burden to bear
A constant reminder that I'm trapped in this snare

My heart feels like stone, my soul like a shell
A hollowness that echoes, a loneliness that dwells
I search for a glimmer of light, a ray of hope
But it's shrouded in darkness, and I can't cope

In this prison of pain, I'm trapped and In the depths of my soul, a darkness resides inside me
A heavy fog that cloud my mind, and won't subside
The world outside seem gray and cold
A reflection of the emptiness I hold

I'm lost in a sea of despair
Drowning in tears, with no hope to repair
The weight of my soul, a burden to bear
A constant reminder that I'm trapped in this snare

My heart feels like stone, my soul like a shell
A hollowness that echoes, a loneliness that dwells
I search for a glimmer of light, a ray of hope
But it's shrouded in darkness, and I can't cope

In this prison of pain, I'm trapped and confined
A prisoner of
A prisoner of
