Daily Cycle

Ok, it’s 6am, time to get ready once more
Staring into the void, questioning what's in store.
Does it matter, this routine, day by day?
Or is it just a cycle, leading me astray?

Wake up, I tell myself, pushing through the haze,
Off to school, in a never-ending maze.
Through stress and strife, I navigate the fray,
Yearning for respite at the end of the day.

Home again, weary, I sink into my chair,
Lost in contemplation, tangled in despair.
Projects loom large, a mountain to climb,
Inner voices clash, in the passage of time.

"Get up, finish your work," one voice demands,
While another whispers, questioning life's strands.
Does it truly matter, this path I tread?
Or is there more to life, beyond what's said?

Life's burdens weigh heavy, society's stones,
In the solitude, I ponder, feeling alone.
In the end, I let go, embracing the track,
Living life on my terms, never looking back.

About this poem

As a student, actually, as a person, we have to go throught this cycle everyday of waking up either working or studying, all towards just to be able to afford living life. It starts at a young age until we die. As I realized that, it made me want to express it in a form of a poem
