Breaking the silence for those to hear.
Let it be known loud and clear.
Peace across the land to all.
Time for change, no need to fall.
Acts of kindness, love to share.
Showing others how much you care.
Change can start with you and me.
Giving what you can, would be.
The new beginning for those who are lost.
Growth for them with a loving cost.
From your heart and soul.
Is the beginning of a new goal.
We can all start today.
Helping others in a beautiful way.

About this poem

I wrote this because I have seen many job losses in our community. The inability for many to pay rent, and struggling to buy groceries. I feel that those who can help would be making such a great contribution.
