The Little Things- Short Film

A friend of mine once said don’t show what you do, show why you do it.

I knowww this is a wild first question but what’s one thing we all collectively share as humans…

A smile

I’m the poet you see on your screen right now ->

I’m Iverson, but people perceive me visually
For why is how each ego is portrayed differently.

my life has shown me perspective, as I open a page from that chapter and pour the words.
onto the canvas it deserves,

an ocean of healing and emotions all tucked into faded dreams and feelings

and this is just a fraction of what makes me, who I am.

I create, to inspire those who truly want to express,
this life is ours,
we have our own thoughts,
we express through projection, this life is beautiful
each soul,
bound of unique complexion.

I call this “Ivys Yearbook, my most prized possession” for the last year

I’ve been a photographer/ human existing amongst the world

These are the little things, that swing
through my mind.
Like warm days, filled with love, or laughter hanging, from trees above.
This life is filled with flowers,
while perception is only condensed into 24 hours.
So I ask you, do you notice the little things.
That run in the back of your mind,
The passerby, or every blue sky.
Do you hear the birds chirp?
Maybe you even ask,
what is life?
maybe it’s to find our purpose,
to realize every waking
second is worth it.
Birds sing, while people only wish of things,
aren’t we all connected by strings?

So I ask one last time, what’s one thing, we all share collectively as humans,

A smile.
