A day, one day
A day will come
when paths will cross off distant futures
and silence will tune in
to breaths in sync
with just a word of trusting hope
watching the wind blow moments still
to knowledge of no boundaries between
two lone regrets
in opposition to each other
facing a truth sought for too long
you've crossed a line
erased by sorrow
when both our gazes met in fear
and stopped to seek
for meaning in long chains of explanations
not ever voiced, but heard for what they were
two lone regrets
mirroring shadows of forgiveness
for what has passed
has brought this day to be
and what has come
will vanish in a yugen free
