Am I worth your respect?

Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)

Sometimes you just ponder to yourself
Where do we go wrong on occasions?
When is it time to stop fighting for others?
when they aren’t always fighting for you

Do they not understand that you do care
That you would do anything to help them
If they would show the appreciation back
Like I feel like I try so hard and I get nothing

but at the end of the day we still have love
Even if they don’t believe it or truly see it
we need to start opening up our eyes
Just so that we know what is going on

So when you feeling down and not yourself
Please always know your self worth inside
You are just as important as everyone else
Even if they don’t see that you always cared
