Ama

Ama, I've thought of it a while now
why do I always seem to carry my loneliness with me?
I've stained every good feeling with this misery of mine.

I've left the city I was buried in
yet these dreams haunt me still
ama, I'm still scared of many things
of not being enough
of being too much
of never knowing where to rest this heart of mine
this weariness has worn me out

ama, in this crowded place,
I still eat my meals alone.
