Alas!
We think
but forget how to feel.
We lust
but forget how to love.
We listen
but forget how to understand.
We exist
but forget how to live.
We chase dreams
But forget how to die in peace.

About this poem

We, human beings are afraid of unknown. So, we attach and cling to tangible things, intellect, thoughts. We chase material things without. Our mind is so preoccupied that forget the beauty and benediction within our hearts and around us.
