The Death of LOVE

I've tried to understand it in so many ways. you'd think that it wouldn't have turned out this way. How can we go from lover's to almost stranger's as if we've never known one another. With you I felt unstoppable and now everything has just stopped.  I lost myself trying to keep us, but nothing is really worth keeping all but our babies because they really need us. I've wondered on why we are the way we are but all I keep finding are more hidden secrets. We should've did better we should've honored one another and put death to all the devils who came to put us under. We took a vow and an oath to always protect one another, but look at what's happened we can't even stand to be in the same room as each other. A death to this Love, but it'll be a beginning to something new I pray that we both find peace and restoration after this storm. I've put in much of my genuine honesty, time, loyalty and love but now that I'm all shriveled, self medicating, and absolutely damned drained. I guess it took you to figure it out to figure out how to kill Love. This relationship has really been the death of me. The only thing that gives me life is seeing my daughter's faces. With GOD'S given grace I pray for Mercy and a second chance at relearning and understanding love again. To not feel numb after the drinking is done
I want to feel and be that warmth and light I was before, the devil took my heart. I want ties to a love affair so tight that only God can give credit for. My ancestors will smile down and I'll hear whispers of "baby that's it,that the one"  not a fairytale but something substantial and real. So, this could be the death a Love, but also a rebirth. Because you always need Love because it's the strongest frequency that we have. You can beat it, curse it, undermine it, discourage it, be fake to it. But it'll always be. Just because you didn't love me correctly doesn't mean that I don't know how to love. And may this next love come with more peace and living.
