A young love

Blinded by naivety, she sought validation,
Unaware of the consequences, of her manipulation.
She craved attention, like a flame to a moth,
And used his love as a means to soothe her troth.

In his eyes, she saw adoration and trust,
And she took advantage, as her heart turned to rust.
She played with his emotions, like a game to be won,
Blinded by her desires, she saw no harm done.

But as time went on, her conscience awoke,
She saw the pain she caused, and the hearts she broke.
Regret washed over her, like a relentless tide,
For the love she lost, due to her selfish pride.

She realized the depth of her misguided ways,
And the toll it took on him, through countless days.
A lost soulmate, a love that could have been,
Destroyed by her actions, a tragic scene.

In the depths of her remorse, she sought redemption,
To mend the wounds caused by her deception.
She vowed to learn from her mistakes, to grow,
And never again let selfishness take control.

For in the realm of lost love, there lies a lesson,
To cherish hearts and souls, with pure expression.
To value the love given, and never misuse,
For true love is a gift, not a game to abuse.

So, to the boy she used, she sends her plea,
For forgiveness and understanding, let it be.
May he find healing and love, in another’s embrace,
And may she learn from her past, with grace.

I’m sorry
