A Childs Innocence

In the shadowed corners, a child's world unfolds,
Where the grip of addiction, in darkness, holds,
Through shattered moments and silent cries,
A young heart learns to wear a veil of disguise.

In the absence of presence, their love feels thin,
As the child yearns for a touch that should have been.
Amidst the chaos, their innocence frays,
As the weight of the world dims childhood's blaze.

They become the caretakers, wise beyond years,
Shouldering burdens, swallowing unspoken fears.
Their laughter mingles with whispered despair,
As they navigate a world profoundly unfair.

Unanswered questions echo through the night,
Their longing for normalcy, a silent, steadfast fight.
In the haze of addiction, they carve a path alone,
Seeking a refuge, a place to call their own.

Yet in their resilience, a spirit takes flight,
A beacon of hope through the darkest night.
May love's gentle tough finds its way through the haze,
And bring healing to these
shattered, tender days.

Through tear-streaked nights and silent fears,
He longs for solace, amidst the fallen tears.
In tenders eyes, a wisdom too heavy to bear,
Innocence marred by a burden unfair.
He wanders in shadows, seeking the light,
Amidst shattered illusion, he dreams through the night.

His laughter echoes, a fleeting melody,
Amidst the turmoil, a beacon of empathy.
He longs for warmth, a love that's true,
In a world where darkness seems to ensue.

His dreams of a haven, a place to call home,
Where love's tender embrace can freely roam.
Amidst the wreckage, he seeks a gentle hand,
To lead him through this unforgiving land.

So let us hold him in love's tender embrace,
And guide him to a brighter, hopeful space.
For in his resilience, a spirit so pure,
May he find solace, and love's enduring cure.
