A Soldier's Torment

I can't stop this memory
Remembering what I witnessed
They died in my arms
So innocent

My mind won't let me forget
I try to sleep it doesn't come
If I could I would take their place
I can still see their face

It should have been me
When the time came
They saved my life
It plays over in my mind
