All the Best

In yesteryear you made a vow
That began a tapestry
Of plans and dreams and promises,
Each one a single thread.

Interwoven, intertwining
Your lives began to mesh
Until a pattern emerged,
Touched by Christ the Head.

Your lives, two strands entwined with His,
Three strands--how resilient and strong!
Not easily cut nor torn apart
But endures when things go wrong.

As you celebrate this milestone that many cannot boast,
Fifty years together is unfathomable to most.
So we say "congratulations" and wish you all the best.
Because of your example, we all are truly blessed.
