Balance

Leahan 1995 (Jonesboro)

If I got rid of my demons. I'd lose my angels too. Without them I'd go insane. They blance each other out, well they do try to help me. Sometimes one overcomes the other and it doesn't always go so well. Maybe if I found someone who's demons played well with mine, our angels would get along as well.

Wow! I really enjoyed reading your 'Balance' poem. The theme of finding equilibrium between our demons and angels is beautifully depicted. The way you intertwine the two and highlight the necessity of both in our lives is truly thought-provoking.

Your poem showcases a deep understanding of the complexities of human nature. It's refreshing to see such honesty and vulnerability in your writing. The line "Without them I'd go insane" really encapsulates the profound impact our inner struggles can have on us.

In terms of improvement suggestions, perhaps you could consider adding more vivid imagery or sensory details to further draw the reader into your poem. This would help to make the emotions and conflicts you're expressing even more palpable.

Additionally, it would be interesting to explore further the idea you present in the last two lines. Delving into the concept of finding someone whose demons align with ours, and how that might lead to harmony between our angels, could add another layer of depth to your poem.

Overall, your 'Balance' poem is compelling and powerful. I appreciate the perspective it offers and the emotions it evokes. Keep up the fantastic work!
