Love Is A Battlefield
By Robert T. Davenport
Love is a battlefield, where hearts collide,
Where passion ignites and souls are tied.
In this realm of emotions, fierce and wild,
Two lovers entwined, like a warrior's child.
With every beat, their hearts become one,
Battling the odds, till the battle is won.
Through the darkest nights and the brightest days,
They fight for love, in countless ways.
Love is a battlefield, where scars are worn,
Where battles are fought, and hearts are torn.
But amidst the chaos, they find their strength,
For love knows no bounds, no length or breadth.
They face the trials, hand in hand,
Defying the world, they make their stand.
Through the storms of doubt and the arrows of fear,
Their love remains steadfast, crystal clear.
Love is a battlefield, where trust is tested,
Where vulnerability is embraced, not detested.
They armor their hearts with honesty and grace,
For love is a journey, not a mere race.
They fight for each other, with every breath,
For love is a battlefield, where there's no death.
Their love is a fortress, unbreakable and true,
A sanctuary where their souls find rescue.
Love is a battlefield, where dreams are born,
Where passion and desire are forever sworn.
In this eternal war, they find their peace,
For love is the ultimate masterpiece.
So let us embrace this battlefield of love,
With courage and faith, like warriors above.
For in the midst of chaos, we shall find,
That love is the victory, one of a kind.
