Almost Everything

Most have often shown envy,
for all these smiles seen upon me,
no stopping time,
which keeps ticking,
nor the followers,
who keep clicking,
solves a quest for what's missing,
almost everything.

Illustrations of a lifestyle,
with everything much wanted,
on surface, it's hidden,
a heart that is haunted.

All this glamor and jewels,
and exotic places,
something is missing,
behind all smiling faces,

With drum to move,
to a beat as I choose,
all which is seen,
will surely amuse,
without everything,
as I've skipped a beat,
filling a void in this heart,
I choose to retreat.

What this heart,
keeps on yearning,
cannot ever be,
purchased nor stolen,
gaps need bridges,
to help me with learning,
filling these voids,
my mind must be open.

Love is not chosen,
it's a blessing and a treat,
not based on income,
as it is born by destiny,
when love has arosen,
know what's missing in your beat,
flow with this rhythm,
and you'll have true harmony.
