ANXIETY

Jasmine C. 2002 (Catulayan San Juan Siquijor)

Anxiety, feelings of sorrow and fear,
Where most of childhood experience it here.
Reacting to stress and alerting you to danger,
In schoolwork, relationships and in others—symptoms can interfere.

Here am I, trying my very best,
Felt heavy within my chest.
I can know I am fine,
Now, my mind is no longer mine.

That time when I am losing my mind,
But nothing can do but to hide.
Then now I am losing control,
Convincing myself that I can handle it all.

This happens anytime and anywhere,
And seem to be aware.
This got me crying,
Feeling lost and lying.

Anxiety can ruin your day,
And can destroy you entirely.
Description of pain and always scary,
But don't let anxiety ruin your life and make you crazy.
