A True Hero

I am the sun, a hero to all
For ten of thousands of years
I give energy to everyone every day.
I light up everyone and give them warmth.
Plants, animals, even humans cannot live without me.
I am the heart of the world.

When I hide from the sky,
A pitch black night is coming.
The creatures who lost their hero
Waiting in their beds for my return.
In the pitch black darkness,
In the freezing cold,

When I return to the sky,
Everyone laughs and greets each other.
But they are thankless
That I had returned.
But I keep on helping them because
I am the sun, everyone's hero
