Finding you agian

In the darkness of the nightmare I lived
In a single day you changed my life,
On a path of destruction I was able to be free,
Those feelings of hope what you gave is for what I strive,
You changed my whole world and saved me
In a day's time of fulfilling my loneliness in all
By nightfall all my heart was glowing
a romance and satisfaction I haven't felt before for you was what my heart called.
You did not cast judgment
You did not seem to have the same fears
For a moment I looked into your eyes
And visualized a solid romance one for many many years.
You then tucked me to bed
Once all the conversations were through
Layed there next to me as I felt you breath
That night Im sure I fell for you
Once morning came we dreaded so much
We had to part ways as I couldn't bare the reality
Sometimes in life we luck up to have single moments
That night is a memory my heart will always carry with me,
Years down the road on my journey
I gave everything up like you said I could
Your eyes meeting mine caused me to smile
The feelings for u still burning like I said they always would
Its amazing how time goes by
You loose love and loose touch with a friend,
I have a feeling what we shared is true
And with faith trust and honesty it could last til the very end.

About this poem

There once was a reason to finally let go even if it was hard to do within your heart, but change is a great and positive thing that can open so many new opportunities so you can love to loose laugh to cry and fall to gain

I've lived a hard life one I haven't been open to talk to just anyone about but my words are my feelings and deepest passion and the only way I can seem to communicate easily more…
