Invisible
Past lines of pain and despair that are here, yet no one cares.
Could it be? The one they see, isn't me.
Before their very eyes is an empty shell living to serve, fighting through his own personal hell.
All he wanted was love but not much.
Just a fraction of what he gives, but it's never enough.
Not a tear has fallen from his eyes.
As he sees right through their empty lies.
The lies of love that never were.
Turning him colder as each day passes.
Yet, he wakes up with a fresh hope and a new slate.
With fingers crossed that today will be great.
But as the hours roll by, he sees once again that they are lies...
