Olive Tree

The Olive tree spreads its roots deep into the land,
Its longevity and resilience have allowed it to stand

It bears the gift of sustenance, the Olive and its gold
The splendor, the children of the land behold

Lives are formed around the tree,
Reveling in its generosity

Through their endurance, the branches share their past,
Ever so changing, the present contrasts

The wind blows the leaves, but the sound is distorted
A chaotic symphony played inside the orchard

Those who scorn the land act with malice
In search of power, their actions callous

The trees echo the noise surrounding
The children of the land, their screams resounding

The Olive tree, a symbol of hope towers
Emblazoned in fire, impelled to cower
