And what now

There’s a feeling in my gut
and a lump in my throat
There’s no healing of this cut
no mending the bump in the road
We live now as such, without ending
Apart, no clutch, at most some pretending

Hope more instead of less
   give to you my heart and head
Rest more and not less
   ready to grab my reaching hand instead
Love deep not for ourselves
   that is our only path to lose less

Our existence was full of doubt
but I stand grateful for my resistance
Now please don’t step out
there is sun, in the distance
