Four Eternal Brothers of our Youth

Take a knife to strife.
Let’s go deep down memory lane.
Our heavy metal shows on your moms porch was never in vain.
We understood the pain.
We drank the filthy rain.

Was it the pale yet powerful madness from The Smiths that made us happily frail?
Perhaps it was the perfect archery of DIO that forced us to set sail.

I recall the fierce icy wind of 1986 December wind that introduced us to the slow melting echoes of the Cure.
Our time, as universal brothers, was uncut, unwavered, unmatched, and supremely pure.

Remember it always then my forever friend.
Continue to drink from our lost chalice of mystical pretend.
Allow our sleeping words to answer the call once more.
Be fully awake when life presents to you the final door.

As we stand tall, face to face, against those pearl unfathomable black eyes, we shall not splinter an ounce of regret.
For it is the lava like ruination of man that  we sadly forget.
