The Cleaning lady

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

March 24

Now you understand.

You come over and knock on my door to clean and mop the floor, clean me, and feed me in my time of need, then you leave and go away and come back the next day. When will I see you again?  When I look at you, I can see your eyes sparkle like stars in the sky. Your smile is like a cool summer breeze, and I love the way your hair blows in the breeze. You have to be a sin. I have a fake grin, but way down deep, I fell in love with you. I know you never knew I could never have someone as beautiful as you. So, what can I do? I leave that up to you. You know all this is true. But it still hurts. What else can I do? I love you.
