Boo

Sarah Brower 1995 (New Jersey)

That look in your eyes
daggers thrown in cold blood
toes curl beneath concrete in horror

spraying jealously on your wrist
dabbing obsessions on your neck
filling air with flatulence of disdain

The reek of your egotism
stains once pure clouds
causing the skies to shrivel and age

Rocks quiver under your soles
afraid being turned to grit
leaves falling from trees to hide
