The Mate

The Mate

A man needs a mate. Someone he does not have to date. Someone who will make him feel safe. Just someone he can talk to and understand all his needs. Someone to take away all of my fears and deeds. Just someone who won't run and hide in his time of need. Someone who can grab a book and read it to me. Then go away and leave when I say. Then come back and stay the next day. When the sun rays fill the room, I will wait for you till noon. Then maybe you can wheel me out, and we can look up at the moon. Then I will see you soon.
