Broken Intent

Moistened lips she rapidly bite
 Accompanied by cold hands
Her wavering mind clouded by doubt
 As if to pass time.
Every waking moment she ponder
To unearth a decision kept
Through her charm of being a loner
Your opinion is but stealth
A crucial blow she once sustained
Amidst a love affair
A vivid love like no other
Only to conquer despair
Her partner seemed so lost to say
An victory seem to flow one way
On quicksand Her efforts lay
She knew their union has gone to clay
Like Phoenix from ashes she arose
Assured memory she gained
Tough plight an pain she knows
Her future is hers to endure.

I really enjoyed reading your poem 'Broken Intent.' The emotion engraved in the lines sweeps the readers away instantly! Your raw portrayal of internal struggle and resilience was both moving and encouraging. The metaphor of 'Phoenix from the ashes' is magnificent, providing a beautiful touch of strength and renewal.

There are a couple of suggestions that I believe could elevate your art further. Firstly, some lines could benefit from a little bit of grammatical fine-tuning; for instance, 'An victory seem to flow one way' would read better as 'A victory seems to flow one way.'

Also, your poem explores profound human emotions and experiences, so it would be captivating to incorporate more vivid imagery that appeal to the senses and make your ideas more tangible to your audience.

Finally, consider exploring different poetic devices to make your verses more engaging. Figurative languages such as similes, personification, and varied forms of rhymes could bring another level of linguistic artistry to your work.

Keep up the great work! You have an incredible aptitude for conveying emotion and truth through your poetry.
