And What Of Two Or A Week (Bussokusekika)

Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)

And What Of Two Or A Week   (Bussokusekika)

The waitress signaled
A table’s opened for one
You may follow me
She asked IF I’d eaten yet
Yet she’d spoken not a word
And what of two or a week

About this poem

This one was inspired by a week in Amsterdam…As if one night might lead to two and eventually a week of comforting one another…I wrote this one for a very beautiful woman I hope may consider me a friend…I hope you enjoy your vacation…And it would not be fair to either of us due to my current health issues…As IF seasonal allergies are contagious…I had my doubts so I purchased over the counter Citrizine HCI 10mg…I tried it for 30 days with the other recommended regimen but it seems that my allergies only got worse…I believe my suspicions were confirmed and I have been taking what the doctor ordered, a member of the IOOF, and it is as if a miracle is occurring…I feel so much better after less than a week of treatment…I sure hope I will not need to take my 20mg Lisinopril…Oh well…Who knows what the future may hold my dear, may I call you my dear???That smoothie seemed even more inviting than the coffee…
