For A Piece Of Vanity

Mondays through Fridays
The big files and coffee.
Weekend is thin air
Less brain work, but clean up.
The routine is same,
I'm tired it's lame.

I want to wake up in a yatch, and watch dolphins:
I want to get lost in good sight being a tourist,
I want to lie under the skies, and just breathe,
And let my tongue judge culinary skills.

My paycheck is handsome,
The future is ransomed.
So why won't I swipe my card and pay the bills,
For only, but a piece of vanity.
