Dear friend,

You have been my rock countless times
You have helped me see life in a new light
But now you're gone
And I'm feeling down
I never imagined
I would feel this low

You used to dance
And I believe you'll dance again
Just not with me
You'll be on your own
But you'll still be dancing
Just like you wanted

About this poem

I decided to write a poem about my friend who loves to dance. I hope she dances throughout her life, even beyond her grave. P.S. This is a rewrite of one of my other poems.
