Necessity Resurrection
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Jesus has been raised from the dead,
First fruit for those who fell asleep;
Those who are spiritually fed,
He will return to lead His sheep.
As in Adam, we all will die,
But through Christ be made alive;
You have no need for you to cry,
Your resurrection will revive.
Jesus Christ has been the first fruit,
His coming to those who belong;
Allows each of us to transmute,
To become spiritually strong.
You will know that the end is near,
When He delivers His Kingdom;
Put down nations who do not fear,
Of the Father and His wisdom.
He must reign till He does defeat,
The last enemy put to death;
And every foe under His feet,
When they have given their last breath.
For God has put in subjection,
Of all things to be His footstool;
The Father gave His direction,
For the Son to begin His rule.
And when all things shall be subdued,
The Son shall be subject to Him;
That God may in all be pursued,
The sharing of spiritual vim.
