A Thought On War.

Haiku
Loud booms all around
Trigger at my hand and I
Think I better run!

About this poem

I wrote this haiku back in 2009, while I was deployed with the US Army in Kosovo. Thankfully we were not involved in combat at the time, but the situation was such that thoughts were always popping up in our heads. I've always said, "Running is also a form of defense." So I wrote this in regards to war and a similar reaction if things got too crazy, theoretically.
