Feeling Alone And Stupid

What to me said then,
I didn't get it.
That good advice given.
Disbelieving,
Anyone cared about me.
Or...
What I did,
To do.

And today I sit,
With truth.
Making an unusual visit.
Feeling foolish.
Alone by myself.
Wondering why,
I refused advice from someone who said,
My head was thick as if made from bricks!

Should I call and apologize?
Or keep my pride inside.
These thoughts I kept.
Back and forth to deny.
Advice I did not need,
From anyone not knowing me.
I had been through too much.
To have it said I'm the one out of touch.
And...
If I am,
SO WHAT!?

I was told I was stubborn.
And had a moody disposition!
Me?
I could not believe it.
I questioned my mind.
And my mind even agreed.
Betraying me like that!

Perhaps I have been sometimes wrong.
And maybe those times,
Had been prolonged too long.
So what.
Nobody knows me better than I do.
To try and attempt me,
I lie to myself.
I'm committed to being right.
What's wrong with that?

Yet...
'Uh,
Why are you here?
To come back to disturb my peace of mind?
Can't you see,
I don't want to waste anymore of my time?'

'I came back.
To at least hear an apology,
Heard and it given.'

'How considerate of you.
Go ahead.
I might accept it.'

'God?
Why are these times YOU make,
So difficult to face?'

'Tell me about it.
Thank God I was born with patience.
And tolerant enough,
To await for your apology heard.'

'Oh no you didn't?'

'Trust me I did.
And glad I am you came back to realize,
How God works in mysterious ways.
Although...
I had already known that!
I accept your apology.
And also your advice too.
Even though you know nothing about me!'

'GOD?
GOD?
What more can I say?'

'Nothing.
You said enough as is!'

'You need to pray.
Everyday on your knees to stay that way.'

'Me? Pray?
You're here.
You apologized.
And I think that prayer has been delivered!'

'Why is it that I,
Am the one left feeling stupid?'

'I already said,
God works in mysterious ways.
I have nothing to do,
About that or how God does His thing!'
