A Dream of the Past

You were the embodiment of what I longed for,
the dream of all my youthful dreams
and you were in my arms
my happiness, my love and my whole world,
that warm July starry night,
when you kissed me for the first time.

It was an eternity in that moment,
in that kiss all the love of the universe,
your name is engraved in my heart,
as the mark of a slave of your love.

And now, whenever I look at the sky
and its harem of shining stars,
through the doors of the past and dreamy dreams
from my heart, like an intruder, your name appeared,
to remind me that I had a dream next to me
that is now just a part of the past.
