Serenade of Ownership : Beyond a Kiss

In the star-stained night, their lips met
Like comets colliding, their cosmic dance begun
Two souls entwined in passion's eloquent duet
The boundaries of self undone
No mere kiss but a covenant made
A silent promise of eternity sworn
In that transcendent realm their spirits strayed
Where fire and water are reborn
The tide of desire blotted out all else
As bodies locked in lover's sweet eclipse
Cried out for consummation, to quell
The thirst which from that first kiss drips
All former lovers now forgotten quite
Erased from memory in that moon-bathed night

Her mouth received his yearning kiss
Their breath commingled, spirits soaked in bliss
In that suspended moment, time stood still
As longing overflowed its banks to fill
The empty vessels of their waiting hearts
Now brimming with love's wine, rich and bold
All hint of past betrayals swept apart
In Love's ouroboros, fate foretold
No mere tryst but an eternal bond made
A covenant signed in lipstick, breasts, and sweat
He claimed her not just for a night or day
But for all the tomorrows they had yet
To walk together, their fused shadows tracing
The topography of desire's embracing

In carnal sacrament their bodies entwine
Hell's furies stoked by caresses divine
Skin slick with lusty waters, breath afire
Consumed in all-engulfing sweet pyre
Beyond earthly pleasure, cosmic bliss
Magnetism of sex, atoms and souls kissing
Matrix of being revealed in lovers tryst
Egos dissolving, borders no longer existing
Only the divine dance, rhythmic, profound
As deepest secrets without words are found
Love's geometries emergent in thrust and arch
The universe contained in their charged march
No mere climax but an infinite vastness
A singularity reached, borders surpassed
As ecstasy's unfolding fractures the glass
Of self, spelling desire's death, rebirth at last

In the whispering dark, secrets were confessed
Masked vulnerability laid bare, naked, undressed
Walls tumbled down, pretense turned to dust
As longing's persistence conquered mistrust
Everything he'd been looking for, suddenly found
In the exquisite coiling of limbs spellbound
She unlocked chambers sealed for eternity
That kiss held the key to her destiny
A claiming indeed, not just of her mouth
But her essence, her spirit, her northernmost south
Staking a timeless claim on her heart
One that distance and time could not part
For this was no ordinary tryst or fling
But an ouroboros love-birthing
A tantric turn inside the gyre
To ignite forbidden depths of desire

Where his lips caressed, firebrands seared
Her flesh his marked territory, affinity declared
With mouth, teeth and tongue he etched his name
On her skin, her beating life's eager flame
Not just lust but the cosmic draws near
In the consummation of bodies sincere
The varied boundaries of self give way
To the transcendent, the sublime, the fey
This was no pedestrian encounter to slake
The itch of brief arousal, meaningless mistake
But an etching on the soul, sealing one's fate
A baptism in the waters of love intricate
The lace maps traced by tongue and fingers
A covenant signed in pleasure's sweet lingers

And when at last their passion was spent
Limbs enwrapped in silence, energy lent
To Eros' spiraling dance through the spheres
Piercing veils of reality, vaporizing tears
They knew that something holy had taken place
A reshaping of souls no time could efface
For that kiss was no mere satisfying of lust
But a blazing of spirits turned to dust
Then resurrected in passion's heat
Made infinite, completed, whole, replete
This was the alchemy they had sought
Lead to gold, faith to truth brought
The deepest magic of human connection
Beyond the confines of form, space, complexion
Opening secret doors, revealing hidden tracks
Their joined souls would follow, no going back

The branding goes soul-deep and further still
Beyond the grasp of mortal minds to fulfill
The promise made, the pledge blindly given
To bring a little more of heaven
Into this harsh world that needs it so
Balm for the violence, the hatred, fear and woe
A kiss that traverses the boundaries of time
Transcending death, darkness, reason and rhyme
This was no dalliance, no whimsical fling
But an ontological remembering
Of oneself as but a speck, sublimely small
In the endless rituals of birth and fall
This kiss: a convenant of souls inextricably bound
In love's alembic, passion's sacred ground

So though their parting came, as partings do
The invisible threads between them still grew
Stretching across the void, shimmering, aglow
With remembrance of the kiss that set it so
Distance only strengthened what absence denied
Tempering the bond the kiss signified
Time's river flowed on, presently to return
And once more in passion's heat forge and burn
The covenant sealed by more than lips and tongue
That speaks the language blood to blood has sung
Beyond words, though poems paint but palest shadows
Of love's incandescent illumination felt in marrow
They will meet again, and kiss again, and then
The cycle will renew, death into life, darkness into light, eternal, without end.
