My Tie To You

My diary, the keeper of what was before.
The only link I have to you.
Pages of my pain, intricately scripted.
A bitter narration.
A paradox you see coming,
clear in its unfolding
A fragile mirage.
Witness to our bygones.
A heavy heart that came with your absence.
In the quiet of my room,
my hurt has a voice, in a book with your name all over it.
