You’re a flame that I wanted to touch and I a moth who wanted nothing but to burn in you. If you could see the beauty I see in you, you would burn to ash. I would scatter and find new light, knowing damn well I’d rather burn with you.

About this poem

I have been writing for awhile now and I really love doing it and I’m good at it. So when I’m struggling I write, this poem came up from a recent break up I went through. Very short and sweet, but deep meaning.
