Black Hole

This is a poem I wrote:

I'm an inky black oblivion
A spiralling black hole of my own thoughts
Consuming everything and sucking it into my core
Trying to become something
But turning something into nothing

I am nothing but I am also everything
Every book, every pen, every table, every chair
I am the sun, the moon and the stars all at once
I am the consumer and I am the consumed

The truth is, I can be whatever you want me to be
I will bend myself out of shape
I will squish and squeeze and stretch myself
Into someone completely new if that is what it takes to please you
I am the sun on your skin and the waves against your feet
Im the dark and the light
The new and the old
I am me and I am you

But inside, I will always be everything and nothing.

I will always be a black hole.
