Broken
Jamie Brown 1986 (Montgomery,Alabama)
Do you ever feel broken within when you stop and clear your mind? I want to understand it all I don’t want to be left behind. All of my tears of the past and all of the hurt and the pain . Hard to let it go when I always feel the same. No one had showed me that I am enough. They always give up on me when the times are tough.
My feelings I hide why should I let them show? No one really cares they always let me go.
The loneliness hurts but it is hard to trust again , I don’t want to let just anyone in.
I’ve been thru all the troubles and the heartache too .
I know I can be stubborn and get sad on days too, one day I hope that someone will come in my life and not just get tired of me and walk away like they always seem to do.
