Always Something There

Always there seems to be a there.
Somewhere to avoid.
But the nature of a curious human being,
Won't allow what's there left to leave alone.
And if different in appearance,
Nosey noses approach closer.
As if a game to play truth or dare.

So...
Whatever is there becomes a dare.
To whoever has not had enough,
Of minding their own business.
Then to become scared,
If what is there threatens.
In an attempt to involve someone else,
With embellishments to exaggerate...
What they saw but not there at all,
To be seen yet vividly imagined!
