A Flawed Mommy

A Flawed Mommy,
Loyal and true,
Flawed
to the Darkest pieces of my soul.

Tarnished and worn,
Darkness envelopes,
Unable to breathe,
Unable to see.

Broken, lost,
They cry out for me,
Panicked,
Searching.

In the distance,
Carried in the arms of an angel,
The winds of change;
I'm drawn to it's energy,

Frantically,
Running
I feel gloriously Peaceful.
I feel happy.

It is the end .
It is every thing.
It is more,
It is heaven.

I feel myself Drifting,
Suddenly thunder crashes,
Lightening rips up
Everything loved By me.

Gone, the happy times,
Gone, my dreams
Lost forever,
My girls,
Gone too.

Ripped from my arms,
Torn away by hate,
Isolated and Ignored,
Just because they could .

Lost, a child hood,
Unconditionally loving mommy,
Who wanted only,
To love and be loved.

Instead, dreams of smiles,
Sounds of laughter,
Unimaginably,
Picture-perfect happiness
By all three

Lost in the stars,
Down a worm hole,
Figment of imagination,
Crushed, simply Because
they could.

Misty Brock

I am a 44year old ,Flawed Mommy of two wonderful little girls that are my inspiration to be someone who helps to create a better, more beautiful world devoid of narcissistic, childhood and verbal abuse with a side order of breaking the cycle of mental health distinction and treatments. I currently freelance or sub-contract any type of work I can to make ends meet and pay their father child support. I have a kindness for all, an over active emotional Naivety of human nature and interactions. I enjoy writing poetry the most of all my writing, as well as drawing and illustrating anything that causes my heart pause and the creative skills to produce wonderful pictures. I have an imposter personality trait, don't care for recognition, and love to make things wonderful for those deserving of it. Thank you for reading. Please critique, and comment. more…
