Learning

someday's are extremely hard
others are not as bad
although it still hurts
it also makes me just as sad

i will continue to try and make you proud
and i know you can hear me weather iam silent or iam loud

i know you raised me to me tough and to be strong
but the only thing that helps me is listening to your favorite song
ill also continue to finish the stuff that you could not
because you were unable to so do i will make it continue on
everything that i do, i do it for you
i pray to god daily to give me peace
cause man if people only knew
i thank god for all you have shown and taught me
because with the strength you gave me i a finally starting to be able to see
even though i want you back and here
i finally learned how to move forward and have no need to fear
but there will be times that i will drop and fall to the ground
or maybe i will even cry and scream possibly even shout i will just somehow manage to do so without making a sound
there will be times that i will not be at my best
but again you being my mom my strength will be put to the test

i promise to never give up
and to carry your name proud and high
then i will see your beautiful smile up in the lovely night sky

some may think i am crazy but they will never understand but you raised one hell of a lady and i will never sink lower than the sand
i still hurt just as much as when this all happened
iam just learning how to handle ot in ways i never had imagined
every one deals with it in their own way
but we cannot help one another because there are still no right wods to say
