As Is To Know

If it had not been for tomorrows.
There would be no todays.
To awaken at dawn.
Awaiting the Sun to witness and see rise,
Higher to brighten the sky upon the horizon.

If it had not been for history,
There could be no future made.
To welcome that comes done to view.
Although...
Living in the midst of continued conflicts.
With a permitted soliciting,
Of division, racism and hatred to commit.
Humanity could not forever exist like this.
To experience life lived as is to know.

Or...
Those tomorrows to leave any yesterdays,
Heard to hear it said...
How today and more to come,
Has a future to welcome for everyone!
