The Wishing Ornament

Is it a Wish, Or is it a Prayer
Such a fine line, Both can be there.
From a thought you had, Or from your heart,
Are they really, so far apart.
Think for a moment, That they are the same.
Only to you it’s special, to some may sound lame.
If from your heart, It might take a while.
But when it happens, Don’t forget to smile.
A Wish, A Prayer, The answers may come.
But always know, Answers differ for some.
Look up, Look around, Did it come true.
The real answer might be known, Only to you.
The Wish, The Prayer, Just give it a nod,
Answered by  a friend, Or was it from God.
If you believe, the Wishing Ornament to be,
Hang it with pride, Let your Faith lead.

About this poem

I had creating an Ornament display for a Fair Trade event at my church, sat down and wrote this. I made them available for people to give with an ornament.
