You won

Misti Lichelle Rippy 1978 (Jackson ms)

I lay here at night praying that you're alright..
But the whole time your perfectly fine.
You're out there doing what you do ,
Worrying about you..and only ..
When you come home, you treat me like an option that you have no choice on.
And if I voice my hurts or concerns, I'm always the one in the wrong.
You said youve bee. Tryin to leave me alone ,
Then by all means go!
Go and fuckin stay gone!
Stop using me and mine and let me move on.
You hurt me time.e after time after time..
Yet I keep trying to find ways to fix things just for you to continue with your tricks amd deceptive ways.
I honestly think it's just in your nature
Like maybe it's just part of who you are.
But it's my heart and my body that forever keeps the scar .
It's seems like your daily agenda is to hurt me and tear me down .
Sometimes I cry my heart  out without making a single sound
But somewhere someone has to win, and since I'm not that into being the one ,
Then I feel I should cradle my feelings and shield my heart.
Give you what you asked for and no longer ask you to stay!
I should pack up this relationship and all it's leftover garbage, and send it and you on your way!
It hurts like hell to hear the things you have to say!
But honestly without you near  I honestly know that I'm finally gonna be perfectly ok

About this poem

I have been going through a lot lately with my boyfriend and the pain I feel is what led me to write this.
