Seeking an alternate route
Reluctantly I begin my transformation
though I'm feeling cautiously uncertain.
No longer am I able to tolerate myself,
I must be freed of this terrible burden.
I've been living this way for far too long
and I don't have a valid excuse.
All my effort must now be focused on
escaping all this self inflicted abuse.
Enlightening my perspective towards a brighter humble future existence.
Fueled by the drive and tenacity to
overcome any type of resistance.
Constantly gaining wisdom from these trying times and all these lessons I have learned.
Fixing all my many mistakes that led to this treachery I have now discerned.
Anxiously I await some kind of divine intervention to point me in a new direction.
And to help me achieve these new goals I now have and all these aspirations.
I seek an unquestionable, clear and decisive path to begin this journey I'm about to take.
One that will successfully guide me and
reveal all the right decisions i need to make.
Unconfident, unsure, and uneasy about this whole thing I shamefully still remain.
Yet somehow fully focused on this new life and goals I so desperately strive to obtain.
This growing hope and this strong desire that's within me is slowly beginning to inspire.
These humbling feelings of truth, love and compassion cause a calmness to transpire.
Unwavering feelings of true love, contempt and pure unadulterated admiration.
Have me undeterred and determined to
pronounce to the world this provocation.
Laid out before me a new chapter begins forged out of pure love and forgiveness.
Starting a new day in this blessed life is
truly remarkable and utterly stupendous.
