Road to your heart

Robert Nolletti 1969 (Vancouver)

Road to your heart

The time is now to change myself
From the healing of your light.
The love you show is like falling snow
You make my life so bright

The days go by with every sigh
Companionships falls apart
But With you in mind I’ll take my time and walk the road to your heart.

Oh, Walk the road to your heart, need to cross over some terrain I’ll Strut on through right through to you even in the mud and rain

The day has come to soak up the sun
When I know it’s the heat of your heart
I’m closing in And not far behind
Looking for a brand new start

There we are again hand in hand
Our souls have formed as one
I open my eyes and to my surprise
My days with you had begun

Oh, walk the road to your heart, need to cross over some terrain, I’ll strut on through right through to you even in the mud and rain, even in the mud and rain

About this poem

This poem is about a long lost love that resurfaced many many years later. Being that both parties, are married to different people and the marriages are having problems. Both want to be back together with each other and find their love never dissipated, makes it a perfect romance story
